Top 9 of 2018

Every December since the instagram top 9 has been out almost everyone on instagram posts their top 9 photos in a way of reviewing their year. I love this. I love looking back and appreciating what I’ve accomplished or even just reminding myself that I did something in the last year. My inner critic with being an enneagram type 1 continually tells me I’m not doing enough or that I should be accomplishing more with my life at this point so looking back and appreciating the things I have done in the last year is extremely helpful for me.

This year: I’ve traveled to 2 countries and 4 different states. I’ve moved into my dream of an apartment. I started my dream job. I started going to a new church and met beautiful people through it. I learned new crafts and hobbies. I started this website.

One of the reasons I started this blog/website was a way of logging the things I do and the lessons I’ve learned from them. It’s been a hard year but it’s been such a sweet year. I’ve experienced all the emotions and feelings (bad and so so good), I’ve visited beautiful breathtaking places, and been surrounded by such beautiful spirits.

I’ve been challenged, I’ve grown, I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been loved, and thats all I can ask for.

I wanted to highlight my own top 9 photos. Instagram picks the ones with the most likes but I want to pick mine with my fondest memories surrounded with them.

So, with this year coming to a close and the next one starting, I’m excited for 2019 and all that sweet Jesus will be doing through my life and through the lives of these beautiful spirits around me.
